Finally finished it!
I had a really tough time deciding on a color scheme for this one. It's so busy, so I was trying to unify and calm it down with the arrangements of similar hues.

The line work is inked with Copic Liners, 0.03 up to 1.0, and the color was added in Photoshop 7.0.

Heron's Feathers - colored by *kiriko-moth is a wonderfully clean, stylised image that's well worth taking a closer look at! (Suggested by ~GoddessVirage and Featured by `silentkitty)

wow, i must say, i like this piece much more with color. there are so many colors, but they work oh so well together. the black/orange background is awesome to say the least. the only thing i notice is that the clothes of the two men are too similarly colored. a nice color difference is great for symbolizing different people/personalities coming together.

god.. *bows to you* that is amazing. BEAUTIFUL.

Beautiful coloring job, first off. I'm just going to name the most immediate thing in mind. It's got a wonderful sense of design over all, of course. Absolutely beautiful work in using the darker earth tones to give a muted feeling to the emotions expressed here. There's an opiate sense to the pale ivory yellows, the coffee browns and muted reds along with that grey-tones white that sets it all off.

The line work is amazing. Your variation in the line weight is utterly mind blowing, and I love the flowing theme throughout the entire piece. The heavy boldness of the two figures (in such angular tension! Very male and very visually interesting) and the delicacy of the intricate lines in what seems to be a confusing background. But as much as you put back there, there's a balance with the color scheme you chose and a sense of importance still placed on the foreground. This is a stunning bit of work and incredibly fascinating. It deserves a favorite.

I'm even going to submit this for a DD.

this is so amazingly beautiful! I really love how the coloring is simple and not too much detail but flowing lively with vivid colors. This is so terribly beautiful the background is lucious and elegant! I love it

oh my, the lineart is simply stunning. the background reminds me of finely crafted origami paper. forgive my ignorance, but is it supposed to be a tarot card? it has the appearance of one. i like the diagonals you incorporated into the composition: they bring my eyes all around the piece, just so i don't miss any of it!
